Graduated from the University of Texas, at San Antonio, USA with specialization in Endodontics and Implantology. He is the dentist in Islamabad since 1996.
He has thirty years of experience to his credit. He has also had the privilege of setting up the department of Dentistry at Shifa International Hospital and remained the head of the department for six years.
Started practicing dentistry since 1986. After Graduating from University of Texas at San Antonio, USA. He started dentistry in Islamabad in the year 1996.

Dr. Shahid Mehmood founded Dental Profiles in the year 2006. With the team of doctors who are master in their respective areas of dentistry.
With over twenty years of experience Dr. Shahid Mehmood was the appointed Dental Consultant with the U.S Embassy in Islamabad Pakistan. He remained as Dental Consultant at U.S Embassy for 4 Years till 2014.
We are pleased to announce the introduction of Lasotronix dental laser at Dental Profiles. This particular laser device is of cutting edge technology and one of its kind. We feel proud to be the first one in Islamabad. Dr. Shahid Mahmood visited Italy and Poland to get professional certification for Laser usage.
